The learning function

The main topic of my game has to deal with the religions of the Middle East, namely, Judaism, Christianity, and Islam. It also shows how they used to barter to get what they need.

Amswer 1:
The number of screens on my prototype at this time is maybe five or six, but there are two or three more sheets that are needing to be done just to finish the game.
1: Title.
2: Instructions and goals.
3: Walking into Damascus.
4: Walking into the Baza'ar.
5: Talking with different people.
6: Trading screen.
7: Stables and talking to the owner.
(following are in progress)
8: Buying the horse.
9: Riding out of Damascus.
10: Seeing Jerusalem in the distance.
11: Entering Jerusalem.

Answer 2:
Yes, but I intend to refine the controls into something easier to understand.

Answer 3:
Yes, I am quite satisfied with the prototype. Refine the controls and cut out the pieces to show moving things (i.e. mouse, character, city gates, etc.) and possibly add some colour.

Answer 4:
NO! Because I am horrible at videos and hate the sound of my voice when I hear it played back (hahaha!)

Reading at Greenbrier East on 10/14/2010

Today we were instructed to read for a certain amount of time; we were then told to answer a few questions about the school-wide reading assignment.

Question 1: What did you read today?
Answer: I read "Prayers for the Assassin" by Robert Ferrigno.

Question 2: How often do you read?
Answer: I try reading whenever I get the chance, like when I am done with classwork or when I am on my lunch break at work.

Question 3: What do you like to read?
Answer: I like to read books about different things; I enjoy the classics that are well known and some that many may never even heard of like the Greek Odyssey or the Iranian "Shahnameh"; or action books like "Prayers for the Assassin".

Question 4: What does reading do for you?
Answer: With reading, I can relax and unwind after a long day at work.

Thoughts on game genre

Bismillah ar-Rahman ar-Rahim

Well, in Globaloria, we are tryig to decide what type of game we are wanting to create, granted there are many ideas swirling around, some of us want to create an action game, others want to create an adventure, and others wish to create a game involving music. Personally, I want to create a video game with adventure like maybe MedMyst.

I really don’t know; I want to see how this turns out first then get the ideas going. Well, seeya! You all have a nice day. J
